God the Father as revealed to Mother Eugenia Ravasio

This is one of my favorite spiritual revelations that I've read.

This is an excerpt of God's Message to the world as revealed to Mother Eugenia Elisabetta Ravasio. It is a message to a world so in need of the love and grace of God the Father.

"I know your needs, your desires and everything in your hearts. But how happy and grateful I would be if I saw you coming to Me and confiding in Me your needs... how could I refuse you the smallest or biggest thing if you asked Me? I am a very good Father, not a fearsome one, as you believe."

At Moments of Weakness

Psalm 34:18

"The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed."

This specific verse in the bible tells us that whenever we feel sad, depressed, frustrated, angry, worried and all other things that render our hearts vulnerable, that is when the Lord is very much close to us.

More than anything, God wants to show His infinite love for us in so many ways. And perhaps there is no better way to let us feel that than to save us. His greatest act of love for us was to save the sins of humanity through the sacrifice of His Beloved Son. And He continues to love us infinitely even until now. In the midst of our sins, unbelief, doubts and fears, He is always ready to answer our cries for help. He is also always ready to forgive us.

When life gets you down, and you encounter problems, do not give in to too much despair. Don't ever feel that you are alone. God is with you always, and He will be ready to help you when call on Him. Even if problems and trials don't seem to end, do not stop calling out to Him. Keep on praying. Because whether or not you see it, and whether or not it is answered today or later, your constant prayers are working. He hears you, He knows your desires and your needs. He knows your weaknesses and fears.

Keep this in mind:

How will you ever know God without problems? If this world was as perfect as we wanted it to be, and everything happened the way we wanted it to, then we would never know God. We would not know a Saving God, a Helper God and ultimately a God whose love is the only love that will never leave us. We would not come to know the magnificence of miracles and the joy of answered prayers.

He shows His undying love for us when He assures that He will always be with us, no matter what. If you allow God to enter your life, what a wondrous life that indeed would be. God wishes to comfort us in our sadness, He wants to give us the best of what He can for us, He wants to make us happy under his Grace and Love.

It is in problems that you see God, that you talk to Him, to plead for His intervention in your life. He is more than willing to do so much for you. Give Him your absolute faith and trust. He will answer your prayers in many ways that you cannot conceive. God is an arm that will hold you at your weakest, the same arm that will help you get back on your feet.

Implore Him in your sadness, just as much as you Glorify Him in your happiness.

Quote for the Day

We usually want things to be done our way. But trusting in God means to accept that things may not happen the way we want them to. God knows what is best for us, and He wants the best for all of us.

Through Another's Prayers

This night, I realized that where we are today are most often not only because of what we were able to do.
It is also because of other's prayers.

When my dad passed by my room to go to the balcony upstairs, I stalled him him a bit. I asked him to pray for me to be a Dean's Lister this semester. My grades for the second semester was looking really good(though i did not expect to get those kind of grades) and I was thinking that I could possibly become a Dean's Lister this semester.

So, I told my dad to hope and pray for me.
He said to me, "I've been praying for your success all my life."

And then I realized it all. My dad had been praying for me all along.
My successes had not only been through my effort, time, work and God's help. But it was also my dad's prayers that got me where I am today. Now I'm pretty sure my mom prays for me too.

          It really hit me.
We pray a lot for other people, for God to intercede in their life and bless them. But somehow, I just really realized other people's prayers for you can alter your life and somehow make it better.

I should do that more often too.
Thank you to my mother and my father. :)
